Hugo is currently a student at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, where he is a Juris Doctor Candidate in the Class of 2026. Before pursuing law, he earned an Honours Bachelor of Philosophy and Political Science with High Distinction from the University of Toronto. He is excited to be back in Edmonton, where he was born and raised.

Deeply committed to community involvement, he has previously volunteered as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Harry Ainlay High School, and served as a board member with the Winston Churchill Society of Edmonton. In his spare time, you might find him playing basketball or tennis at his local community league courts.
